Crystal Palace defender Jaroslaw Jach admits he's not yet good enough for the first team.
The 24-year-old signed a three-and-a-half year contract with the Eagles after joining from Polish club Zaglebie Lubin in January.
But he has yet to make an appearance and has been sent on loan to Turkish side Caykur Rizespor for the season after the centre back admits he failed to make his mark in training.
"In England, there were training sessions where I presented myself better than my competitors, but I lacked consistency," he said this week.
"If I have that in Turkey, I am not worried about playing. And I have to play, because the Crystal Palace scouts are still watching me. I have recently learned that they will come for a few of my matches.
"We decided on a loan deal because I knew that there would be no place for me in the first team.
"Yes, [Roy Hodgson] was a supporter of the transfer [from Lubin]. But when I came to England, I was not ready for such a jump. It was hard for me to compete with the boys who have been playing in the Premier League for years.
"Today I have to gain experience and... grow. I devote a lot of attention to working out at the gym, because to put it bluntly in England, the physicality can kill you.
"I do not feel regret, only aggression and stubbornness. I want to prove to everyone that I can play in the Premier League."
