Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka says playing international football will make him an even better player.
The 20-year-old has won a first call-up to the England U21 squad after an impressive start to the season and has been training with his new squad mates.
As he prepares for Thursday’s match against Holland and next week’s tie away in Latvia, the right back is thriving alongside England's best young talent.
"The squad is strong and to be involved in it means a lot to me," he said. "I can see the squad is a hard-working team and very focused and professional and it’s a team that will push you and carry you to where you need to get to.
"Everyone wants to work hard and focus and you can feel the difference in the training sessions with the U21s.
"The tempo is high and the pace is up so you’ve got to focus on it, to keep up.
"I was looking forward to it and I enjoyed it as well and I thought I learned something from the first session, which all helps towards my game."
