Crystal Palace have announced two friendly matches in Scandinavia this summer.
Roy Hodgson will take his Eagles side to Danish club Helsingor on Thursday, July 12 and then to Swedish outfit Halmstads four days later.
Helsingor were only formed in 2005 and now play in the Danish first division after getting relegated from the Danish Superliga.
Hodgson, who began his coaching career with Halmstads in the 1970s, returns to his old club where Palace will be up against another second tier opposition.
The manager told the Palace website: "I am delighted to return to two countries which have meant a lot to me during my managerial career.
"Halmstad where it all began in 1976 and Helsingor where I shall meet up with their manager Christian Lonstrup, who played at FC Copenhagen when we won our first Danish Championship."
Palace have confirmed away friendlies against League One club Oxford United on Saturday, July 21 and then Reading of the Championship a week later.
