Crystal Palace have captured striker Emmanuel Adebayor on a free transfer until the end of the campaign.
Adebayor, 31, has been looking for a club since getting released by Tottenham in September with Spurs agreeing to pay his £100,000 a week salary till June.
It's reported they will now contribute £35,000 towards it with Palace paying the rest and the Eagles will decide whether to extend his short-term contract after the season finishes.
The Togolese has scored 94 Premier League goals for Spurs, Arsenal and Manchester City and is set to be named in the squad for Palace's FA Cup tie with Stoke City.
Adebayor has been keeping fit while out of the game for the past five months and manager Alan Pardew will assess his match sharpness ahead of Saturday's fixture.
His arrival comes as a major boost for goal-shy Palace who, barring an own goal last time out, have not scored in six league games and are the third-joint lowest scorers in the division with 24 goals in 23 matches.
