Palace reserve team player Sean Hankin has signed for Third Division Torquay United on a one-month loan deal.
The defender cum midfielder, 20, has played just once for the first team, coming on as a substitute against Bolton last season, since signing on as a trainee in August 1998.
He has been given verbal permission by Palace to play in the LDV Vans Trophy against Bristol City tonight.
Hankin will meet up with team-mate David Woozley, who is in the middle of a successful three month loan deal at Torquay.
