Crystal Palace midfielder Mile Jedinak is currently the fifth best performing player in Europe this season.
With a detailed scoring matrix sourced directly from Opta, fantasy football game Oulala pay as much recognition to defensively minded midfielders like Jedinak as they do to fancy strikers who score 20 goals a season.
Over the big five European Leagues (Premier League, La Liga, Bundesliga, Serie A and Ligue 1) only Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi, Alexandre Lacazette of Lyon and Montpellier's Vitorino Hilton better Jedinak in terms of performance levels this season and in the Premier League Jedinak is in a class of his own.
The Australian currently sits top of the EPL charts with 397 points. To put this into context those behind him are struggling to keep up and the chasing pack includes some pretty big names such as Eden Hazard (320), Diego Costa (315), Leighton Baines (312) and Angel Di Maria (282).
Jedinak also sits top of Europe's midfielder charts with PSG's Lucas Moura his closest challenger on 357 points. Jedinak's three goals, one assist, twenty-four clearances, thirty-four tackles and thirty-two interceptions emphasise just how well he is playing this season.
Last season Jedinak was the sixth best player in European football according to Oulala and the third best player in the Premier League behind only Luis Suarez and Steven Gerrard. With the points scoring matrix developed from Opta performance statistics just why is Jedinak not receiving the recognition he rightly deserves?
Managers on Oulala most certainly are recognising our player. Last weekend a massive 52% of them picked the midfielder making him the second most selected player behind Ricardo Rodriguez of Wolfsburg and more popular than both Ronaldo and Messi.
And he didn't disappoint picking up a very healthy 49 points thanks to a goal, winning 10 duels and making 3 successful interceptions against West Bromwich Albion.
Oulala is a free to play, weekly European fantasy football game offering cool prizes to it's top three managers every week. Oulala offers unique features such as a diverse scoring matrix and live in-play substitutions making it the closest fantasy football has ever got to reality. To register, click here.
