Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha has been called up to the provisional Team GB Olympic squad.
Palace announced that the 19-year-old has been named in Stuart Pearce's 35-man group which will be reduced to to 18, plus four standby players, on July 7.
Zaha heard the news while on holiday and tweeted: "Just arrived in Cyprus & heard the great news #buzzing. Thanks for all the support. It's really appreciated."
The Ivory Coast born player capped an excellent season for the Eagles by winning the Football League Young Player of the Year award, Palace's Young Player Of The Year prize and also won a first call-up to the England U21 squad.
Zaha scored nine goals and made seven assists in 49 appearances for the Eagles last season.
Team GB will face Senegal, the United Arab Emirates and Uruguay in their group at this summer's Olympic Games.
