Striker Dougie Freedman is hopeful his rich vein of form will eventually earn him a place in the Scotland World Cup squad.
He scored twice in the 4-2 defeat to Nottingham Forest on Saturday to bring his tally to four goals this season. And he has been inspired by Clinton Morrison's recognition for the Republic of Ireland, where Morrison recently scored on his debut.
He said: "Seeing Clinton get international recognition gives me hope. If I keep scoring I might get the chance to play for my country again.
"I've been in the squad before and I'd love to get back in time for the World Cup. I'm only 27 years old - people think I'm a lot older than that! I wish Clint all the best. He couldn't have had a better start."
