Crystal Palace have snapped up Australian international midfielder Mile Jedinak.

The 26-year-old joins on a free transfer after formerly playing with Turkish club Genclerbirligi and has penned a three-year contract, subject to requiring a work permit.

Palace fought off competition from Rangers to land Jedinak who has 26 caps for his country and he becomes Dougie Freedman's third summer signing.

Jedinak told the official site: "I am delighted to be joining Crystal Palace Football Club at this stage in my career. I am impressed by Dougie Freedman and what he wants to achieve at the club and I cannot wait to get started.

"Crystal Palace has a fantastic heritage and a wonderful set of fans and I am looking forward to playing in front of them at Selhurst Park.

"Playing in the UK has always been an ambition of mine and I am totally determined to make my time here an absolute success."
