Nathaniel Pinney has joined League One side Dagenham and Redbridge on a one month loan.
Pinney made his debut for Palace in the home defeat to Cardiff City in April 2009 where he came on for Rui Fonte in the 89th minute.
He also played 45 minutes of the 1-0 win against Yeovil in the League Cup this season.
Eagles boss George Burley feels that the loan move will be beneficial to the 19-year-old striker.
"I think it's a great move for the boy.", he told the Croydon Advertiser.
"He's got lots of potential but we feel he needs some first-team football. The experience of playing regularly in League One - a very competitive division - will be excellent for his development."
