Forward Alan Lee has joined Huddersfield Town for an undisclosed fee.
Palace agreed a fee reportedly worth £350,000 over the weekend and Lee accepted personal terms on a two-year deal today.
Lee had a bright start to the new season, scoring two goals in four matches including a last-minute winner against Yeovil Town in the Carling Cup.
But the arrival of strikers Pablo Counago and Jon Obika from Ipswich and Tottenham respectively last week pushed 32-year-old Lee down the pecking order.
His crucial goal for Palace in the final game of last season against Sheffield Wednesday helped the Eagles claim the point needed in the 2-2 draw to stay up.
Lee made 71 appearances for the Eagles, scoring 13 goals, after joining from Ipswich in August 2008.
