Steve Parish, one of the directors of the CPFC 2010 consortium, gave a Q&A session to members of the Holmesdale Online.

During the Q&A session Parish revealed a number of plans that the consortium will undertake once they take full control of the club. He revealed that they are already interviewing some mangerial candidates, but want to ensure they get the right man for the job.

He was honest in admitting that some players are likely to leave the club after being unsure about their future during the close season, and have already spoken to other clubs.

He hopes that Darren Ambrose will stay at the club, despite agreeing terms with QPR.

"Darren's had a difficult time, [there was a] deal agreed by [the] administrator, [he] wraps his head round going then we come in and put the whole thing on hold," he said.

"We're going to sit down with him and go over it ASAP. He's been great for us so lets hope we can work something out.

"If not, no one can say he's let us down. The quality he showed for the second goal at Sheffield and all season deserves our eternal gratitude."

The consortium are keen on getting fans flooding back to Selhurst next season and Parish hoped that a press conference to announce their new season ticket scheme will happen very soon.

Other items that were covered in the Q&A were:

  • Former Palace chairman Ron Noades provided advice and some background information for the consortium in their bid to take over the club. They wouldn't rule out any further involvement with Noades in the future
  • Parish feels confident that the CVA will be approved by Palace's creditor's "I think its the best/only deal for unsecured creditors but there are no guarantees", he said.
  • CPFC 2010 will be honouring all season ticket purchases
  • Quality of the beer in the Arthur Wait will be looked at
  • No plans to reopen club shops in Bromley or Croydon - future as far as Parish is concerned is online

We would like to thank Steve Parish for his time to speak to the fans directly via this website. Steve has assured us that he will be back in the future to provide more updates, so ensure you keep visiting this site for all the latest news.
