Crystal Palace left-back Rhoys Wiggins has joined Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old made his debut and only first team game for Palace in October 2008 when he played a full 90 minutes in the 2-1 loss to Nottingham Forest at Selhurst Park.
Since then the Wales U21 international struggled to force his way into the side and in January 2009 he moved to Bournemouth on loan for six months where he made 13 appearances for the seaside club.
Recently he underwent surgery on a troublesome knee which has blighted his career so far.
Norwich City boss Bryan Gunn was delighted to capture Wiggins who has penned a two-year contract at Carrow Road.
He said: "Rhoys is predominantly a left-back and I saw him first hand playing for Wales Under-21s against England. It's not often you see James Milner have a quiet game but he did and a lot of that was down to Rhoys' work.
"He comes highly recommended by Dave Williams who has worked with him. He is a player who likes to get forward and will certainly bring a level of competition to the squad that we feel we need."
