10. Craig Beattie v Blackpool (a)

From a swift counter attack, Ben Watson picked out Craig Beattie on the edge of the area and the striker curled home a delightful shot inside the far post.

Kuqi

9. Shefki Kuqi v Barnsley (h)

The Barnsley defence failed to deal with Julian Speroni's long kick and Kuqi took advantage to lob the onrushing keeper.

8. John Oster v Hereford (h)

Okay, it was almost certainly a cross but Oster's effort from the right wing that arrowed into the top corner was still pretty special.

7. Nick Carle v Sheffield United (a)

United could not cope with a long ball into the box and as the ball fell to Carle just inside the area, he volleyed with aplomb to level in injury time.

6. Danny Butterfield v Norwich (h)

The ball broke loose to Butterfield a few yards outside the box and the right-back let fly with a blockbuster to score.

5. Shefki Kuqi v Forest (a)

Kuqi latched onto a ball fown the left channel, barged off a defender and lobbed the stranded goalkeeper from distance.

4. Shefki Kuqi v Southampton (h)

The Flying Finn chested down Nathaniel Clyne's long ball, spun away from his marker and powered into the top corner.

Stokes

3. Anthony Stokes v Preston (h)

Stokes surged down the right wing under pressure from a defender before stopping to cut into the left, then jinking to the right and firing into the far corner from an acute angle.

Oster

2. John Oster v Norwich (a)

The Welshman struck an exquisite chip over the keeper from the edge of the box which Neil Warnock described as "world class".

McCarthy

1. Paddy McCarthy v Derby (a)

This goal will long live in the centre half's memory - a 40-yard thunderbolt that almost burst through the goal net.
