Crystal Palace youngster Kieron Cadogan scored on his debut to rescue a point in a 1-1 draw against Coventry.
The 18-year-old midfielder leapt off the bench on the hour mark and levelled the scores 12 minutes later.
Cadogan was the only bright spot in a poor game with both sides stuck in midtable obscurity.
Coventry had the first chance of the night with Freddy Eastwood finding Aron Gunnarsson and the midfilder drew a near-post save from Julian Speroni.
Daniel Fox fired a free-kick from outside the box just off target, then former Eagles striker Clinton Morrison mis-hit a good chance in the Palace area.
Speroni made an excellent save to repell Eastwood's firecracker from the edge of the area before City went in front on 31 minutes.
Isaac Osbourne sent over a cross from the right wing and Gunnarsson climbed highest to nod past Speroni.
The goal seemed to galvanise Palace who resonded with Victor Moses hitting a shot wide and Neil Danns' effort was blocked on the line by Morrison.
Before half-time, on-loan striker Anthony Stokes lashed a 25-yard drive which City keeper Kieron Westwood did brilliantly well to palm over the bar.
Gunnarsson had two excellent opportunities to extend Coventry's lead after the interval. The first was a close-range shot that he somehow ballooned over before watching another attempt cleared from under the crossbar by Lee Hills after rounding Speroni.
Palace boss Neil Warnock threw Cadogan on from the bench for the last half an hour and he made an instant impact with a goal in the 72nd minute.
City defender Ben Turner let Moses' seemingly innocuous pass go beyond him and Cadogan nipped in to touch the ball past keeper Westwood and slot home.
Eagles skipper Shaun Derry could have snatched a late winner for the hosts but his fierce drive flew just past the post.
