March 2 2009
Crystal Palace have signed Republic of Ireland striker Anthony Stokes on loan until the end of the season.
With the earlier news of Danny Butterfield moving to local rivals Charlton on-loan, Neil Warnock has been quick to use the wage money on the 20-year-old Sunderland striker.
He signed for the North East club in January 2007 from Arsenal, and has been on loan for three months at Sheffield United, and a four month loan spell at Falkirk where he scored an impressive 14 goals in 16 appearances.
He will be available for selection for the game against Wolves tomorrow night.
