Neil Danns
Crystal Palace got back to winning ways with a 3-1 success at Plymouth Argyle.
The Eagles ended their four match losing streak to gain their first league victory since the 3-1 win over Norwich on Boxing Day.
Plymouth started the better of the two sides with Krisztian Timar heading James Paterson's corner just wide.
But Palace withstood the early pressure as Alan Lee had a shot blocked by Gary Sawyer and they went in front in the 21st minute.
John Oster delivered a cross from the right and Neil Danns, back in the side after recovering from an ankle injury, headed into the bottom corner at the back post.
Seven minutes later, the lead was doubled when Sean Scannell's strike crashed against the post and Lee put away the rebound.
Shaun Derry and Danns blasted attempts on goal, while Timar nodded another corner narrowly off target.
Two minute before half-time, Palace made it 3-0 from a swift counter attack.
Derry hooked away a Plymouth corner to Danns who lashed the ball downfield to Ifill and he made strides down the left before sending over a great pass to Oster on the right and the Welshman rifled home.
Plymouth pulled a goal back in the 68th minute when sub Paul Gallagher robbed Danns and crossed for Sawyer to fire past Julian Speroni.
Plymouth: Larrieu, Doumbe, Cathcart, Timar, Sawyer, Judge (Barnes 64), Duguid, Paterson, MacLean (Noone 61), Fallon (Gallagher 64), Mackie.
Not Used: Clark, Summerfield.
Palace: Speroni, Clyne, Jose Fonte, Davis, Hill, Oster (Butterfield 80), Derry, Danns, Scannell (Hills 71), Lee (Kuqi 71), Ifill.
Not Used: Lawrence, Moses.
