Sean Scannell
Crystal Palace booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup with a 2-1 win at home to Leicester.
The Eagles face Watford at the next stage after Paul Ifill and sub Sean Scannell grabbed the goals in front of a sparse Selhurst crowd of 6,023.
Palace had the first opportunity of this third round replay when Victor Moses fed Alan Lee who blasted wide of the goal from a tight angle.
Lee had another chance, gliding Danny butterfield's cross over the bar before both sides were forced into substitutions.
Leicester centre-back Aleksander Tunchev left the field on a stretcher on 21 minutes after an accidental collision outside his own area, then Moses hobbled off 10 minutes later and was replaced by Scannell.
Leicester striker Steve Howard should have put the League One club in front but looped Joe Mattock's cross over.
Palace stole the lead in the 38th minute when Ifill spun away from a defender in the area and hit a shot that deflected off Andy King's heel to send keeper David Martin the wrong way.
Ten minutes into the second half, Scannell sealed victory with a pacey run down the middle from Lee's pass and lofted the ball over Martin.
The Eagles had to thank Julian Speroni for stopping Ashley Chambers' vicious shot, then Matt Oakley somehow missed an open goal. And deep into stoppage time, Max Gradel rifled home Chambers' cross for a consolation.
