Crystal Palace have made a double swoop for winger John Oster and midfielder Leandre Griffit on short term deals.
Oster, 29, impressed Palace boss Neil Warnock while on trial after ending his time at Reading in June and will be looking to re-ignite his career at Selhurst Park.
Griffit joins from Swedish club IF Elfsborg after previous stints with Southampton, Leeds and Rotherham and both players have signed until the end of the year.
Warnock said: "Well I think the squad is still a little thin on the ground and John gives us that little bit of experience especially away from home.
"He keeps hold of the ball and looks to get past his marker and get crosses in so it gives us other options about where to play Sean Scannell and some of the other lads.
"With Leandre, he is a player that has been recommended to me and has just come to us until Christmas. He is a very positive lad. He likes to run at people, plays left, right or in behind the striker and just a good acquisition really."
