Clinton Morrison has brought the curtain down on a second spell with Crystal Palace. We chart the highs and lows of Palace's joint-third all-time top scorer.
1979
Clinton Morrison is born in Tooting, South London, on May 14.
1998
May - Handed his debut against Sheffield Wednesday as an 82nd minute sub and the 18-year-old former trainee scores a last-minute winning goal.
September - Makes his full Palace debut and scores in the League Cup win over Bury.
1999
May - Ends the campaign as top scorer with 13 goals from 42 games.
2000
May - Finishes up with 15 goals and top scorer for the season in 33 matches.
2001
May - Hits 19 goals as top scorer during the 2000-01 campaign from 56 appearances as Palace beat relegation from Division One on the last day.
June - O'Morrison makes his Republic of Ireland U21 debut against Portugal at Tolka Park.
August - Scores on his international debut for the Republic of Ireland against Croatia. Eventually goes on to win 36 caps and score nine goals for the Republic.
2002
May - Makes his best-ever goal tally for a season with 24 goals from 49 matches and is the club's top scorer for the fourth season in a row.
Goes to the World Cup finals in Japan and Korea with the Ireland squad but doesn't play.
July - Moves to the Premier League with Birmingham City in a £3.5million deal plus Andy Johnson.
2003
May - Only manages six goals in his debut season with Birmingham.
2004
May - Five goals is his return for the 2003-04 season.
2005
May - His third and final season with Birmingham yields five goals.
August - Returns to Crystal Palace for £2million after a relatively unhappy spell with the Blues.
2006
May - Morrison nets 13 goals out of 43 games in his first season back at Palace.
2007
May - The striker gets 12 goals in 44 appearances for the 2006/07 season, finishing as top scorer.
November - Nets his 100th Crystal Palace goal in the 1-1 draw against QPR.
2008
February - Makes his 300th Crystal Palace appearance (v Charlton).
May - Ends the 2007/08 term as top scorer again with 16 goals from 47 games - his best total for six years.
August - Joins Coventry City on a free transfer after being told he no longer featured in manager Neil Warnock's plans. It ends his eight-year association over two periods with Palace.
Has chalked up 316 games for Palace, making him 11th on the all-time appearances list.
His 113 goals makes him the joint-third highest Palace scorer of all time. He finishes with the same number of goals as Mark Bright and only the great Peter Simpson and Ian Wright have netted more.
