The second part of our 2007/08 season review which saw Crystal Palace finish fifth but lose out in the play-offs.

January

Clinton Morrison's goal helpes Crystal Palace keep up their unbeaten run to draw 1-1 at home to Norwich City.

Neil Warnock scoops the Manager of the Month award for December.

Franck Songo'o and Paul Dickov return to their host clubs.

Palace are dumped out of the FA Cup after a Danny Shittu-inspired Watford won 2-0.

Young guns Lee Hills and Sean Scannell pen professional contracts.

Reading defender John Halls signs in a one-month loan deal.

Palace move into the play-off positions after a whopping 3-0 win at Wolves.

Leon Cort makes his loan deal to Stoke City permanent by joining for £1.2million.

Clint Hill joins Crystal Palace for an undisclosed fee after impressing on loan.

Palace make it 15 league games unbeaten with a 2-0 win over second-placed Bristol City.

Lewis Grabban joins League one strugglers Millwall for an initial £150,000.

Shaun Derry makes his loan from Leeds full-time and midfielder Neil Danns signs for £600,000 from Birmingham.

Palace's 15-match unbeaten run comes crashing to an end with a late 1-0 defeat at Leicester.

Dave Martin joins local rivals Millwall on transfer deadline day.

February

James Scowcroft is on target as Crystal Palace are held 1-1 at home to Southampton.

Scowcroft admits he's delighted to accept a new one-year deal.

Carl Fletcher scores his first international goal as Wales beat Norway 3-0.

Palace slumped to a 2-0 defeat in the South London derby at Charlton.

Halls completes his one month loan move and returns to Reading.

Danny Butterfield signs a two-year extension to his contract.

Scott Flinders signs for Yeovil Town on a one month loan deal.

Palace are without a win in four as they crash 1-0 at home to Ipswich Town.

The Eagles are cruelly denied victory against Bristol City after an injury time goal saw them draw 1-1.

Palace's play-off hopes are dealt a blow with a 2-0 defeat at home to Wolves. Kuqi is slapped on the transfer list after making a gesture to the Palace fans as he walked off the pitch.

Scannell is named Ireland's Young Player of the Year.

Warnock charged with improper conduct by the FA for comments made about referee Richard Beeby who allowed an extra minute of stoppage time which was enough for Jamie McCombe to equalise in the 1-1 draw at Bristol City.

March

Morrison scores his 14th goal of the season as Palace secure a valuable 1-0 win against Preston.

Palace waste an opportunity to get back into the play-off hunt by drawing 0-0 at home to Cardiff.

Dougie Freedman has a change of heart and decides to join Leeds on loan.

Ben Watson grabs the winner as Crystal Palace win 2-1 at home to Colchester United.

Victor Moses scores his first goal for Crystal Palace, as they pick up a valuable point against West Brom, drawing 1-1.

Kuqi moves to Ipswich Town on loan for the rest of the season.

Palace keep up their hunt for the play-offs with a 2-0 win at home to Barnsley.

Matt Lawrence rescues a point for Crystal Palace with a last-minute equaliser in a 2-2 draw at Sheffield Wednesday.

Crystal Palace swoop for Scott Sinclair on loan from Chelsea.

Flinders moves to Blackpool on loan until the end of the season.

Tony Craig rejoins League One side Millwall, Ryan Hall goes to Conference outfit Crawley and Jeff Hughes to League One Bristol Rovers - all on loan.

Palace sign Kyel Reid from West Ham and Nathan Ashton from Fulham on-loan until the end of the season.

Palace's play-off hopes are dealt a blow as they could only draw 0-0 at home to Blackpool.

April

Youngsters Jamie Smith and Ryan Carolan are handed full contracts with Crystal Palace.

Palace agree to settle out of court with former manager Iain Dowie.

The Eagles leap into the play-off places with a 2-1 win at high-flying Stoke City.

Palace keep their promotion chances alive with a 2-0 victory at home to Scunthorpe United.

Julian Speroni agrees to sign a new contract with the club.

Palace go a step closer to sealing a play-off spot with a 2-0 win at fellow promotion contenders Watford.

Palace must now wait until the last game of the season if they are to be sure of a play-off place after losing 2-1 at Hull.

Craig is recalled from his loan stint at Millwall.

May

Palace thrash 10-man Burnley 5-0 to secure their spot in the Championship play-offs.

The Eagles concede a last-minute goal at home to Bristol City to go into the play-off semi-final second leg 2-1 down. Watson gets Palace's goal from the spot.

Palace are dumped out of the play-offs after losing 2-1 against Bristol City at Ashton Gate. Again Watson scores, but a late penalty hits the post.

Speroni is crowned Player of the Year and Scannell Young Player of the Year.
