Clints Hill and Morrison helped Crystal Palace to a 2-1 win at local rivals QPR.

Palace got off to a flying start with Franck Songo'o forcing keeper Lee Camp into an early save after just 11 seconds.

But Rangers took a deserved thanks to Jamaica international defender Damion Stewart on 10 minutes. He met Akos Buzsaky's corner with a powerful header past Julian Speroni.

Hill headed over for Palace before Speroni was called into action to twice save from Rowan Vine.

The Eagles found themselves on level terms in the 65th minute as Hill met Ben Watson's free-kick to prod home from six yards.

Two minutes later, Palace were in front thanks to in-form striker Morrison - his sixth goal in five games. Watson's corner was headed by Hudson onto the crossbar and Morrison was on hand to nod over the line.

The away side should have made the game safe as sub Lee Hills headed over the bar when well placed after a fantastic run by fellow sub Sean Scannell.

Palace are now unbeaten in seven matches under Neil Warnock - who was sent to the stands by referee Alan Wiley in the last minute - and move up to 15th place.

Palace: Speroni, Butterfield, Hudson, Fonte (Hills 52), Hill, Soares (Fletcher 73), Watson, Derry, Songo'o (Scannell 60), Scowcroft, Morrison.

Subs Not Used: Freedman, Martin.
