Crystal Palace's reserve side played out a 1-1 draw away to QPR.

Danny Butterfield made a welcome return from a hamstring injury by coming through the full 90 minutes.

There were also run-outs for Jeff Hughes, Stuart Green and Besian Idrizaj.

The R's went in front through Romone Rose after 53 minutes when he rifled past Scott Flinders as the Palace defence failed to clear.

Sean Scannell rescued a point for the red 'n blues by nodding home Dave Martin's cross from close range in the 70th minute.

Palace: Flinders, Clyne, Butterfield, Carolan, Hughes, Green, Bostock, Hall (Smith 88), Martin, Idrizaj (Sheringham 75), Robinson (Scannell 55).

Not used: Thorpe, Bingham.
