Mikele Leigertwood believes Neil Warnock's motivational techniques will get Crystal Palace firing again.
The former Palace star, 24, was at Sheffield United under Warnock in the Premier League last season and speaks highly of his former manager.
Now at Championship rivals QPR, Leigertwood reckons Palace have finally found themselevs a boss who will bring success to Selhurst Park.
"I think he is a good appointment - he has obviously got good experience and he knows what the Championship is all about," he said.
"He is a fiery character and is a very good motivator - he will get the boys going, there's no doubt about that."
"The players will be expected to work very hard in training - but it won't be boring because he tends to break up training a bit.
"There will be a lot of physical work - but I think that's important in the Championship. He will work on different plays and will pay attention to set pieces.
"Set pieces are important to him and he will work on those particularly when it come closer to a game."
