Crystal Palace ran out 2-1 winners against Swedish giants IFK Gothenburg.

In the first match of the club's Swedish pre-season tour, Paul Ifill gave Palace the lead after just two minutes with a classy finish.

Striker Jamie Scowcroft doubled the Eagles' advantage 10 minutes before the break with a volley. IFK pulled a goal back in the 74th minute through George Mourad.

Palace face Second Division side IK Oddevold on Friday before returning to London the next day.
