Andy Johnson is hoping for a good reception from Crystal Palace fans when he returns to Selhurst Park.
The sharp-shooter will be part of the Everton side that visits London for Palace's last pre-season friendly on August 4.
And AJ, who scored 84 goals in 160 appearances with the Eagles, is relishing the chance to meet up with his old pals.
"Yes it will be good," he told evertonTV. "It will be nice to see a few of the boys again and it would nice to score there again.
"Hopefully I'll get a decent reception and I'm just looking forward to getting back into things and playing some games."
