January 2 2007
Peter Taylor is planning a January spending spree after watching Palace continue their recent resurgence.
Taylor's side are unbeaten in four matches after Mark Hudson, Shefki Kuqi and Stuart Green scored to get 2007 off to a flying start with a 3-1 win against Norwich.
The Eagles boss remains convinced a play-off challenge is within reach and he is hoping Simon Jordan will give him cash to bolster his squad during the transfer window.
Taylor said: “We are looking to improve in all areas and eight points out of 12 will certainly help.
“Simon knows we are looking around. Hopefully, business can be done.
“We started nervously, they were bettter than us, but the goals gave us confidence.
“Four games in 11 days is hard but we responded superbly.
“We have been inconsistent but the players know I rate them and hopefully now we can go forward from this unbeaten run.”
