Aston Villa have secured Gabor Kiraly on an emergency loan deal.
The Hungarian has only just recently returned to Palace from a loan spell with West Ham, where he was a backup keeper to Robert Green.
Kiraly is currently out of favour with Palace boss Peter Taylor, and despite the on loan Iain Turner getting a groin injury during the match against Colchester United last week, Taylor was happy for Villa to take Kiraly on loan.
This move will confuse a number of Palace fans, as the Eagles will only have Scott Flinders and Julian Speroni available between the sticks for the forthcoming Christmas fixtures.
Flinders has had a number of shaky games this season and Speroni yet to feature through an injury of his own.
Villa currently only have one other keeper fit in Robert Olejnik, so Kiraly could feature in their match against Bolton this weekend.
