Simon Jordan insists his High Court showdown with Iain Dowie is still on - even though the manager was sacked by Charlton.
Dowie was given the boot after just 12 Premiership games with the Addicks rooted to the bottom of the table.
Palace chief Jordan is suing Dowie for fraudulent misrepresentation after he quit Selhurst Park in the summer.
He claimed he wanted to be nearer his family in Bolton but joined the Eagles’ local rivals eight days later.
Jordan said he only released Dowie from his contract on the understanding it was for a job in the north and was angered Dowie made the seven-mile journey to the Valley.
The pair will meet in court next month with Jordan still after after his £1million claim against the former Palace boss.
Dowie will foot the bill for legal costs after Charlton said they will no longer fund it.
Jordan said: "I will not only continue my legal action but will look to extract the details of Dowie’s compensation package which will tell me how much he has earned since leaving Palace."
