The Eagles have swooped for Hull midfielder Stuart Green in a £75k deal.
Green, 25, is a right-sided midfielder and teams up with Peter Taylor again, after playing over 100 games for Hull. He was originally a trainee at Newcastle, and has spent time on loan at Carlisle.
Green's transfer appears to be the only incoming player for Palace on transfer deadline day.
Outgoing from Selhurst Park is Jon Macken who has signed a loan deal with Ipswich for four months.
Ipswich enquired about the former Manchester City striker a few weeks ago, but Peter Taylor was reluctant to let him leave, as Lewis Grabban had already gone on-loan to Oldham. However it looks as though Taylor had a change of heart.
Rumours around Selhurst Park suggested that Blackburn Rovers striker Shefki Kuqi was in talks about a deal, but no confirmation was given before the transfer deadline.
Another deal which collapsed was Tommy Black going to Blackpool. Black turned down the proposed move due to his wife recently having a baby.
