Palace v Boavista
Crystal Palace were comfortable 2-1 winners over a lacklustre Boavista at Selhurst Park.
The Eagles maintained their unbeaten pre-season record thanks to goals from new boy Mark Kennedy and Jon Macken.
Kennedy and Michael Hughes went close with long-range efforts before Kennedy fired Palace in front in the 22nd minute.
Captain Jobi McAnuff teed up the Irishman on the edge of the box and he blasted an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net.
Morrison couldn't keep down a great run and cross from McAnuff soon after as Palace looked in control.
But a minute into the second half, the visitors were on level terms. A cross from the left was volleyed in by Fary Faye from a tight angle at the far post.
In the 75th minute, Macken got on the end of a Marco Reich cross from the left wing to nod past keeper Peter Jehle for 2-1.
Macken nearly added another with a rasping effort, but Palace completed a fairly comprehensive win over the Portuguese side.
Palace (First half): Kiraly, Ward, Hudson, McAnuff, Scowcroft, Morrison, Kennedy, Hughes, Borrowdale, Soares, Butterfield.
Palace (Second half): Flinders, Butterfield, Granville, Cort, Borrowdale, Kennedy (Black, 70) Soares (Spence, 80) Reich, Watson, Macken, Torghelle (Grabban, 80).
