The Eagles' latest match against Los Angeles Galaxy was abandoned at half time, with the score at 1-1.
Palace started the game with a strong line up featuring Danny Butterfield as captain, Jon Macken and Charlie Sheringham up front, and Michael Hughes and Ben Watson in centre midfield.
The match started well for Palace when Macken scored after only 5 minutes. A Sheringham shot was rebounded, and the former Manchester City player was there to put the Eagles one up.
Strong challenges featured throughout the first half, but Butterfield was only person to pick up a yellow card.
It wasn't long though before Galaxy equalised. Paulo Nagamura, a former youth player with Arsenal, made it 1-1 after 21 minutes.
Severe lightning in the Richmond, Virginia area caused the match to be abandoned at half time.
First Half: Speroni, Butterfield, Borrowdale, Ward, Hudson, Watson, Black, Hughes, Freedman, Macken, Sheringham
