Crystal Palace
Eagles boss Alan Smith said today that he believes that Clinton Morrison can become one of the best strikers ever in England. He thinks Morrison can even become better than former Palace star Ian Wright.
Clinton Morrison has already scored 17 goals this season and has attracted interest of several Premiership clubs the past few months.
Manager Alan Smith is quite sure that Morrison can become at least as good as Ian Wright, but that he still has a long way to go.
Smith said: "It's something that we have got to be a little bit careful of now. We need to protect him. Clinton was big in south London but now he is big in English football.
"I would say Clinton will be a really good player in three or four years."
Yesterday, the Crystal Palace youth team crashed out of the FA Youth Cup after losing 3-1 against Ipswich Town.
Ipswich went 1-0 up just before the half time whistle but six minutes into the second half Will Antwi headed The Eagles level.
Four minutes later Ipswich took the lead again and in the 57th minute they made it 3-1.
