Clinton Morrison believes his partnership with Andy Johnson has been given a new lease of life.
The strike duo haven't enjoyed themselves much this season due to injuries and the occasional loss of form.
But Johnson scored on his return from injury against Norwich on Saturday.
And Morrison celebrated the birth of his son Shay with a goal to cap an equally impressive display.
Morrison expects more of the same as Palace look to consolidate a play-off place.
He said: "Andy is a top striker but we've only played three or four times together this season, so it was good to get a relationship going.
"It's always a plus to have him back because he's got bundles of pace and scores goals week in, week out.
"My girlfriend, Marie, said: 'score for Shay', so when I did I was delighted. That was for him."
