Marco Reich has signed a one-and-a-half year contract with Crystal Palace.
The midfielder had been on a three-month deal which expired at the end of December after being released by Derby in the summer.
He has been a big hit with the Eagles, scoring four goals in nine starts.
Reich, 28, had been locked in talks with Palace for the past few weeks and finally put pen to paper on a long-term deal.
"I've been here for four months and Palace have given me a great chance on trial," he said.
"Since day one I have wanted to stay here because Crystal Palace are a really ambitious club and I am sure we can reach our target of getting to the Premiership."
