Shaun Derry is poised for a move to Leeds United in a £250,000 deal.
The midfielder has struggled to get into Iain Dowie's Premiership side and has been restricted to just four starts and six sub appearances.
Derry, 26, played 44 times last season and helped the Eagles get promotion to the Premiership.
He had a particularly good game in an un-favoured left midfield role in the play-off final win over West Ham.
Leeds boss Kevin Blackwell worked with Derry at Sheffield United and is keen to bolster his squad for a promotion assault.
