Andy Johnson has been awarded the Barclays Premiership player of the month for October.
The Eagles hitman bagged four goals in as many games last month, making it eight in total for the season.
The tally puts him second behind Arsenal's Thierry Henry in the goalscoring charts - the top English goalscorer.
A Barclays spokesman said: "Johnson's record is a fantastic achievement. His goals have ensured the Eagles are climbing the table - whether it is England or Poland, international football must surely beckon."
