Crystal Palace have agreed a fee of £2 million for highly-rated Millwall midfielder Tim Cahill.
Palace confirmed that subject to personal terms and a medical, Cahill will be a Palace man.
Cahill's contract at Millwall expires next summer and he has recently expressed his desire to play in the Premiership.
The Australian international has scored 57 goals in a Millwall career spanning seven years, and if he signs will team up with fellow Australian Tony Popovic.
Lions chairman Theo Paphitis said: "Tim is a fine player and has been a great servant to Millwall over the past seven years, but has increasingly made us aware of his desire to move on.
"We believe that he could have realised his dreams of Premiership football at Millwall, but clearly that is not something that we can offer him this season."
