Julian Gray hailed his goal in Palace's 5-1 win at Watford as one of the best he's ever scored.
Gray netted the fourth with a fantastic run down the left side, when he skinned Lloyd Doyley and blasted an unstoppable shot past Watford keeper Lenny Pidgeley.
It was Gray's second strike while playing under new boss Iain Dowie and ranks this one up there with strikes against Leeds and Liverpool last season.
He said: "The goal was one of the best I have ever scored. I am just working on getting my match fitness back.
"I don't know what is going to happen come the end of the season. I am happy playing football and we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
"No-one has said anything to me about a contract. I am just getting my head down and just happy to be playing football again.
"The manager thinks I'm a good player and that really helps and hopefully I am showing him just that and rewarding him with performances."
