Crystal Palace have ended their run of defeats with a 2-1 win over Cardiff City.

Wayne Routledge put the home side ahead just before the half time whistle with a right-footed strike after a cross from Danny Butterfield.

Not long after the interval it was Neil Shipperley who doubled Palace's lead after a cross by Routledge.

Just before the hour mark Graham Kavanagh pulled one back for Cardiff, but The Eagles held on to their lead. This win ended a run of seven league games without a win.
