Crystal Palace reserve team boss Jim Barron has left the club by mutual consent.
Barron also acted as goalkeping coach and was brought to the club by Trevor Francis after the pair worked together at Birmingham City.
It is understood that Barron's departure was due to cost-cutting measures and the restructuring of the reserve side for next season.
Palace will leave the current Pontins Combination League and join a more-competitive Premiership Under-21 Academy league next season.
Academy boss Paul Holden will take charge of the team, who won the league last year, for the rest of the campaign.
