Millwall snatched an injury-time equalising goal to draw 1-1 at home to 10-man Crystal Palace reserves.

Palace were missing six first-team players through injury and suspension and even went down to 10 men in the second half.

Tommy Black saw red after picking up his second bookable offence and was sent off on the hour mark.

The Eagles took the lead seven minutes later. Wise fouled Andy Johnson at the edge of the box and 18-year-old Ben Watson fired home the free-kick.

Then in the second minute of time added on, Belgian Bob Peeters rose to head home Paul Ifill's cross for the leveller.

Millwall had a good chance to take the lead early on when Dennis Wise's corner caused panic in the Eagles penalty box.

Neil Harris, Noel Whelan and Darren Ward all had shots blocked by defenders.

Cedric Berthelin saved well from Harris on 29 before Black was given his marching orders for a kicking out on former Eagle Kevin Muscat. He had earlier been given a yellow for fouling Ifill.

Then Palace took a surprise lead on 67 through Watson's free-kick.

Harris skied over the bar for the Lions before Berthelin denied Wise and Harris as Millwall pushed for a goal.

It came in injury time for Peeters and another ex-Palace man, Andy Roberts nearly got a winner for the home side, but he was thwarted by Berthelin.

Millwall: Warner, Muscat, Nethercott, Ward, Craig, Ifill, Cahill, Wise, Roberts, Harris, Whelan.

Subs: Gueret, Peeters, Livermore, Hearn, Robinson.

Crystal Palace: Berthelin, Powell, Derry, Mullins, Butterfield, Riihilahti, Watson, Smith, Black, Johnson, Routledge.
