Simon Jordan has agreed a settlement deal with former manager Trevor Francis.
Francis was sacked by Jordan in April after failing to convince him that he was the best person to take the club up to the Premiership this season.
Recent reports suggest that the former Birmingham manager had started legal proceedings against the club for unfair dismissal but Jordan set the record straight.
He said: "He filed for an employment tribunal in order to protect himself, in case we didn't reach a settlement - but now we have done that."
Jordan has always maintained that he and Francis parted on good terms and the settlement would seem to suggest that the matter has now reached an amicable conclusion.
