Wayne Routledge played three games for England U-19 last week in the Second Round Qualifying Stage for the UEFA Under-19 Championships.

England topped their group after winning all three of their games in Group 4.

The matches were played in Dublin and England got off to a great start against their hosts, winning 1-0. Blackburn Rover's midfielder Ciaran Donnelly grabbed the goal.

Their second game was against Slovenia as Donnelly grabbed another two goals in a 3-0 victory. Leicester City's Tommy Wright got the other goal.

Their final game of the group was another 1-0 victory, this time over Switzerland. Wright grabbed his second goal of the stage in the 21st minute, resulting in England topping the group, without conceeding a single goal.

England will now travel to Liechtenstein for the eight-team finals starting on July 16.
