Darren Powell believes Palace have a squad good enough to get into the play-offs and beyond next season.
Powell, 27, is a contender for player of the year in his first season at Selhurst Park since his bargain £400,000 move from Brentford.
He said: "I have really enjoyed my first season here. There have been some ups and some downs but overall I'm happy, although I would have enjoyed it more if we had made the play-offs.
"If we can limit the injuries we pick up and keep everyone together I believe we can cause some real damage.
"We have got a good squad here and we should be able to make the play-offs or even an automatic spot.”
