Andy Johnson could miss the rest of the season after tearing his hamstring against Wimbledon last night.
The 22-year-old had to go off midway through the first half in the 1-0 defeat to the Dons and will be out for around six weeks.
Club physio George Cooper said: "He's torn his hamstring and will be out for six weeks. It's a massive blow for him as for the club."
Johnson has scored 14 goals in 33 starts in an injury-plagued season.
Jamie Smith went off injured in the same game in his first match since returning from injury this season. Thankfully, he was taken off as a precaution after jarring his knee.
Cooper added: "Jamie did very well to play 75 minutes in his first game back but he was obviously very tired and just before he came off, jarred his knee. He was taken off as a precaution."
