Palace could be making a move for former Birmingham City striker Dele Adebola.
Adebola, 27, is currently training with Palace for a few days and is hopeful that his former boss at Birmingham Trevor Francis, will take the oppotunity to give him a permanent contract.
Adebola left Birmingham in the summer, having scored 42 goals for the club, over a four-year period. He recently underwent a week's trial at Portsmouth, but failed to secure a permanent move there.
Adebola said: "I just want to find another club as soon as possible.
"I always knew I would have to leave Birmingham once my contract ran out and now I am just going to concentrate on making up for lost time.
"I got on really well with Trevor Francis when he was my manager and it would be great if we could get together again but we will just have to see what happens in the coming weeks."
