((((((Kirby)))))) Caterham on t'hill 20 Mar 03 11.03pm | |
---|---|
This post has been merged from a topic called 'Good luck Craig!' by Penge Eagle Penge suggested we start a thread where users can send their good luck messages to Craig Harrison after his career ending injury. So here it is! Good luck with whatever you decide to do in the future Craig. I'm sure you'll be sucessful as it must have taken a great deal of courage and determination to try and fight your injury. If I see you in Caterham, I'll come and say hello!

Just seen your post Penge, so here is the thread you asked for. Good luck Craig, in whatever you turn your hand to. Anyways, all the best, and thanks for giving those of us who go out Mulleting, some cracking times! We won't let you get forgotten!

As a fellow Mulletteer from the very beginning I must echo Chris' regards. If it wasn't for you Craig I wouldn't have met some of the great mates I have now, and I certainly wouldn't have had the opportunity to go onto Soccer AM! I am therefore thankful to you for that alone. You were a determined player and you fought for the cause. That is the reason so many respected you, why I spent ages making a "Harrison 4 England" flag (remember Liverpool and the friendly at Sutton United? ), and why so many are sad at the news of your retirement. It puts it all into perspective when someone so early in their career has to end what is every boy's dream. I only hope that the time you were fortunate enough to play professional football was enough to make you believe it was worth it. I wish you all the very best in whatever you do in the future. Be safe in the knowledge that The Mullets won't let you be forgotten at Selhurst! Infact The Mullets would be honoured if you'd like to attend a game with us next season! Thanks for everything Craig, and all the very best. [Link] ...just in case

I can't agree enough with the above two. You came here and gave it your all Craig and because of our support for you I have met some of the best lads around. I was absolutely gutted when I heard about your retirement and I can only offer my best wishes to you for the future. You are a top man Craig, all the best.

Nobody likes to see a footballer's career ended so abrubtly at such a young age. It such sad news. You will go down in Crystal Palace folklore for having that Mullet! Best of luck for the future.

My best memory of watching you play Craig, is that great cross to Clinton against Liverpool in the Worthington Cup. I've got it on video, and keep playing it over and over again! - great memories

Sorry to hear about the injury, you always appeared to be a committed and honest player, the sort that Palace could do with more. Good luck for the future and sorry that your career was cut short. All the best man.

All the best mate, really sorry that your career was cut short so early. I hope you can look back on your time at Selhurst with some affection. Be nice to see you at a Palace game every now and then. Cheers.

Craig, thanks for the effort and the memories and some cracking performances - the Liverpool Worthy Cup game stands out, as someone else mentioned. Good luck in the future, whatever you decide to do.

Allright Craigy, As a palace fan living in Teeside, I used to watch you at boro and always thought you were a top player there. I was over the moon when we signed you cos I knew what a good player we were getting. It's a real shame for you and us that you got the injury but as with the other guys and I'm sure most people, we wish you good luck. I'd love to see you back at the club as coach or even manager - team up with Bryan Robson, What a dream team. Anyway, Good luck
