and what about the cnuts who nuke japan where they still have deformed babies born and the cnuts who sell arms to evil dictators then wish they hadn't and the cnuts who have loads of innocent blood on their hands and are about to have even more and these cnuts now think they have the right to rid the world of 'evil'?

The cnuts who nuked Japan did so because the cnuts who ruled Japan refused to surrender and abandon their belief that they were superior to everyone else in the Far East. These were cnuts who thought they could take their little blue pencil and re-draw international boundaries to suit their own aims and use the inhabitants of the countries they decided to overrun for bayonet practice.

If it hadn't been for those American cnuts, D-Day wouldn't have happened, we'd all be speaking German now, we'd be living under the spell of a nation who used production-line techniques to exterminate people they didn't like the look of and people like you and I certainly wouldn't enjoy the rights of free speech that we exercise here.

I don't consider myself to be hugely pro-American but I find it absolutely laughable that people have the gumption to get off their arses and go on pointless (and very trendy) anti-war marches while sitting around and watching the very fabric of their existence (such as the aforementioned freedom of speech) undermined by the likes of Abu Hamza who openly preach their venom in our very midst.

Personally, I think this 'tolerant society' garbage that we keep hearing is a complete myth. We re not merely being tolerant here - we are plunging headlong into an abyss. It's surely only a matter of time now until Al Qa'eda pull off another atrocity, very likely here in the UK. This will doubtless be perpetrated by one of the many 'poor, oppressed' people we seem to be letting in by the lorry-load. And what do we do? We blame America for actually wanting to stop these scum in their tracks by pre-emptively striking against a regime that has a record of human rights abuse and general p!ss-taking as long as your arm. It's about time people started to realise what is actually happening to us here in our own country and accept that we face a very real and very tangible threat from the forces represented by the likes of Bin Laden and Abu Hamza.

Call me a 'Little Englander' all you like but the effects of multi-culturalism are now becoming obvious for all to see.

How good will you look in a yashmak and veil, Bexter?

In response to Bexter, and others elsewhere who seem incapable if rational debate on the issue of Iraq.

Firstly, this idea that we and America sold Saddam all his weapons is crap. If you bothered to look at what kit he has purchased in the past and what he buys now, you would find that it is almost exclusively Russian. With a number of French and German weapons systems thrown in.
So your proposition that it is the US who armed him is laughable.

Secondly, even if a previous US government helped keep Saddam in power, and I have no doubt that they did, that surely enhances the moral obligation they have to remove him.

Thirdly, the Allied generals planning an invasion of Japan, which they were certain would be necessary, expected over 1,000,000 Allied casualties. Tojo himself said that 110,000,000 will die if the Allies invade. So what is the moral problem with the use of this weapon in those circumstances, especially when we consider that Japan and Germany were attempting to build atomic weapons of their own and would have certainly used them, without any moral qualms.

Fourthly, you mention oil. There is already access to Iraqi oil. France and Russia already have billions of dollars of oil contracts with Iraq. France is Iraq's biggest western trade partner, with several billion dollars worth of trade each year and Russia has oil and trade contracts worth 40-50 billion dollars with Iraq.

Finally, read the Amnesty International (also Human Rights Watch) report on Saddam and his use of the sanctions to starve and control his people by allowing millions to die over the last 12 years. Who has blood on their hands now. The UK and US who have consistently tried to resolve this situation, or countries like Germany, France and Russia who would like the status quo to continue. Russia waging a fine and moral war in Chechnya, near the Caucasus oil pipelines and fields.

It is trendy to spout anti-war slogans and IMHO the people who do are also those most ignorant of the true facts. They regurgitate the propaganda that they have swallowed hook, line and sinker.

War is sometimes a distasteful necessity.

It's nothing to do with our multi cultural society - how ridiculous, we are reaping what we sowed along time ago by selling arms to dodgy regimes and supporting their dirty wars. Anyway, the simple issue is, I have made my informed mind up thank you, and along with the majority of Britons I shall be telling my government just what I think of their decision to go to war with his new crazy buddy in the US. I don't want it in my name. Simple.

BE whatever you think, you are in the minority - I think it is more than 'trend'. Propaganda? check out the latest terror threat just in time for us to go to war... hmm... what a coincidence... last time Bin sent us a tape it was checked for ages for authenticity - this time its him - it is, no doubt!
