Anybody else read Michael Moore's new book, Stupid White Men? I knew the American elections were a bit of a farce, but I had no idea that they were deliberately screwed up to such an extent. Not even Robert Mugabe has managed to quite so blatantly rig an election. George W. Bush is no more the President of the U.S. than me. And the fact that the world's future could rest in this guy's hands is very scary...

G W Bush is an idiot, I think it is also very scary that this man has in his hands the power to wipe out the world, America is the powerful country in the world but also full of the dumbest people in the world !!!!
I never laughed at Clowns when I was younger however in adulthood its a different story.............. Who's laughing now !!!!! |

If you liked it, I highly recommend you read some of Noam Chomsky's stuff (not the linguistics, but the politics) like Manufacturing Consent. Fascinating when you read the truth for a change.

saw his live show and his film (but ain't read the book - nearly there!) and both left me speechless. if i wasn't at the palace tonight i would be at the bloomsbury theatre to see him and mark thomas do their bit for CND.

You only have to look at who the Governor of Florida is (and was at the last election) to see why the vote was so 'slanted'. It's also worth noting that Bush was heavily bankrolled by Enron - and they are hardly a shining example of virtue.
